This Mini is one of a few special editions offered in the 80's known as a Mayfair. There were other special editions offered including The Sprite, The 25, The Ritz, The Chelsea and others. The Mayfair options included the 998cc motor, mag wheels, bucket seats and a few other trim items.
This Mini Mayfair has been completely restored from the ground up. The body was stripped to bare metal and painted in bright red. The interior has been covered in leather that enhances the driving experience. The engine was upgraded to 1275cc with a slightly racy cam and a single Webber carb. The wheels are imported Mini Lite wheels with low profile tyres, the steering wheel is a genuine Moto Lita from Italy. The Union Jack on the roof is the Pièce de résistance.
